Your account,
your data.

ChessClubPulse stores your name, your email address when provided, and your account creation date so that you can sign in and find your personal space.

Sign in with Lichess

You sign in directly on the service's website. ChessClubPulse receives your identifier and your profile name. With your permission, Lichess also provides your email address (“email:read” permission). No permission to play, send messages or modify your account is requested. Access tokens are used only to verify the sign-in and are not stored.

Protected access

Your password is stored in hashed form. A session cookie, required for signing in, expires after 12 hours. Signing out revokes the session immediately.

Hosting at alwaysdata

Account data is stored on the project's server at alwaysdata. It is not shared with any advertising service. Fonts and images are served by this same site.

Your games and your club

The site stores your Android connections and the PGNs you send, even without a club, as well as the club profile if any, with player names, moves, times and board information. Connection addresses are secret and can be revoked from your account.

Sharing you control

Personal PGNs are private and reserved for their owner. Creating a public club does not publish them automatically. Games explicitly associated with a club become public if it enables the widget; former club connections keep this association. Disabling this sharing cuts off public access. The widget sets no advertising cookies. On each load, it records the club, the domain of the site embedding it and the date. No page path, URL parameter, IP address or visitor identifier is kept in this log. These events are deleted after 90 days, during subsequent loads.

A development environment

This alwaysdata account is used for project testing. The future production hosting will be configured separately.

Retention period

Account data is kept as long as the account exists. Sign-in attempt counters are temporary and are used to limit abuse. This site does not use any advertising tracking tools.
