Frequently asked questions

Do I need to belong to a club?

No. You can keep and upload your games to your personal space without a club. Publishing to a club depends on your membership and permissions.

Are my games public?

New uploads are personal by default. You explicitly choose to publish to a club. Public display also depends on that club's sharing setting.

Which phone and which board should I use?

The app requires Android 12 or later. It supports DGT Bluetooth and USB OTG connections. Compatibility depends on the model and the connection: check your equipment before buying.

How do I install the Android app?

ChessClubPulse is distributed as an APK file for Android. Until it is published on Google Play, download it from the Android app page. You can ask your questions on the forum.

How do I show games on my website?

The club manager enables public sharing, then copies the widget code from the club settings into the website. The widget stays at the bottom right and opens an overlaid viewer; visitors stay on your website.
